Back Ordered Item Cancellation Processing Fee

Items that are on back order are shown on the website. When an order is placed, the customer will be emailed with an approximate availability time. If the customer decides to cancel the order at that time, then their order will immediately be cancelled and their credit card payment was never captured. If the customer agrees to keep the back ordered item on order, their credit card payment will immediately be captured for the full amount. If the customer decides to cancel the order of a back ordered item after their payment has been captured, a 3% processing fee will be removed from their refund. New Equipment Returns
All returns are subject to a 3% to 25% restocking fee. The amount of the fee is determined at the time of the refund on a case by case basis and after inspection by Lafayette Avionics, Inc. Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the unopened original packaging.

Installation Deposit Refunds
If the installation is canceled by the customer after equipment has been ordered and invoiced by the vendor to Lafayette Avionics, Inc., vendor required restocking fees will be paid with the customer’s $1,000.00 deposit. If any of the deposit is left after paying vendor required restocking fees, it will be reimbursed to the customer by Lafayette Avionics, Inc. company check.

Used Equipment Returns
Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it.

Additional non-returnable items:
-Gift cards
-Downloadable software products

-Aircraft are sold “as is” with no refunds.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, minus a 3% to 25% restocking fee, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then, contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at josh@avionics-laf.com.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of the original shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
